So… where have I been?

I GOT ENGAGED to my absolute best friend!!! 🤍 The hardest-working, most loving, kind, and caring man I know. Along with saying “yes” to forever, I also became a bonus mama to two of the sweetest little boys. That means this mama officially has five babies. 🥹✨

(Excuse me while I continue screaming internally because this still doesn’t feel real.)

Just 12 days later, life threw another curveball. I underwent my very first surgery—and it was a major one. I had a double mastectomy with reconstruction.

During surgery, doctors found three masses, and I’m incredibly thankful to say they all came back benign… meaning NO CANCER!! 🤍🙌

Recovery hasn’t always been easy, but I’ve been surrounded by so much love and support every step of the way. As for the reconstruction… yes, we’re using expanders because a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do. 😂 If I’m going through all of this, I might as well come out with the b***s I never had in the first place. 😉

The important part is this: I’m breast cancer-free, healing well, and doing great. 🤍

If you’ve been here from the beginning, you know photography has always been more than taking pictures to me—it’s about preserving the moments that become our favorite memories. After so many messages, encouragement, and people asking when I’d be back, I finally decided it was time.

That means fresh ideas, new sessions, and so much exciting content… just in time for our Spooky Bo***ir Sessions! 👻🖤

Thank you to everyone who has supported me through every season of life. Your love has meant more than you’ll ever know.
