I’m not going to lie… we were freezing during this session 😂

Of course we chose a super cold day for their engagement photos.
But Mackenzie & James made it look effortless.
That’s what I love about engagement sessions in downtown Kansas City — every corner has a different vibe, and when you’re with the right person, it honestly doesn’t matter what the temperature says.

We had so much fun exploring together, laughing through the cold, and pretending we couldn’t feel our fingers.

If this was their freezing-weather energy… I cannot wait for their wedding in May 🤍

I’ll be honest.

Posting consistently on social media is not my favorite thing.

I second guess the captions.
I overthink what to say.
I wonder if anyone even reads it.

But what I do love?
The people in front of my camera.

These sisters booked a session as a gift for their mom. No big event. No milestone. Just love. And that alone made it worth documenting.
So even if I’m not the most consistent poster, I’ll keep showing up for moments like this.
Because they matter.
