Your life doesn’t happen standing still and smiling at the camera.

Storyteller Sessions are designed to capture the season of life you’re living right now — the little routines, relationships, personalities and details that someday you’ll wish you could step back into for just a few minutes.

These sessions are relaxed, intentional and centered around your story. Instead of choosing a pretty location simply for the backdrop, we choose a place or activity that means something to your family.

Maybe it’s pancakes in the kitchen on Saturday morning. Bare feet and fishing poles at the family lake house. Playing in the backyard you’ve watched your children grow up in. Baking cookies with Grandma. A trip to your favorite ice cream shop. Bedtime stories piled together on the couch. A morning at the farmer’s market. Or simply an ordinary evening at home.

I’ll gently guide you when needed, but much of the session is allowed to unfold naturally. We’ll capture the beautiful portraits you want along with the in-between moments you didn’t know you needed.

The way your toddler reaches for your hand.

The pile of shoes by the back door.

The way Dad makes everyone laugh.

The bedroom that still looks exactly like them.

The dog who follows the kids everywhere.

The ordinary things that don't feel particularly important today — but probably will someday.
