I usually shoot with plenty of sunlight, and this was my first ever night bo***ir shoot.

My client wanted a collection of pictures for her fiancé as wedding gift. On our photoshoot day, we had a delay and started late. Sun began to set halfway through the shoot. I wanted to keep going so I continued shooting with candlelight, street light, signage light, and whatever light I could find in the dark.

I felt nervous. Night photoshoot was not something I had planned for so the first thing I did after I got home was checking the images on my large desktop monitor. They turned out so good! I sat there realizing that years of doing this has made me a versatile photographer, I knew what would work in any given situation. I felt I have evolved that night, I knew my capabilities, my worth and what’s more was that I turned challenges into opportunities. I have done several more night shoots since then, and keep rocking it 🖤.

I rarely get inquiries from husband wanting to gift the wife a maternity photoshoot. This gentleman contacted me while I was on vacation and I said yes instantly. The rest of the planning happened very quickly since J was already 37th week pregnant.

We met at a nice farmhouse a week later. Gorgeous maternity pictures were taken and some family pictures too. Big change is coming to the family. I am honored to be invited to document this special time of their life.

在我的摄影生涯中，主动联系我帮他老婆拍孕照的男人没有几个，其中一个就是这组照片里的男家长。我真是太欣赏了所以也帮他们拍了一组家庭照。

等待新宝宝到来的同时，小日子在踏踏实实地过着，我很高兴能为他们记录这最后的4人生活让回忆永不模糊。
