Aloha social media ‘Ohana!
The hurricane impacted our little ‘ohana in so many ways. We were barely prepared for what happened. We were out of electricity longer than others. We had property damage. We thankfully had running water, but had to use our portable gas stove to heat our three babies and our bath water.
Not only this, but it affected our little photography business. Cancellations happened out of our control. Refunds had to be given. Inquiries went from constant to quiet. It’s been almost 2 weeks since we heard from any interested people.
In this time of desperation, I reach out to the best thing Kaua’i has to offer: our community.
