m used to slowing down when I shoot street photography by observing & waiting for moments to unfold.

Today felt different.

We had an hour to walk and shoot with the Insta360 Ace Pro 2, and the wide perspective changed how I approached the street. I found myself moving more, experimenting—both catching moments as they happened and interacting with people for portraits.

I kept things simple, shooting in auto mode and using a film filter, which made it easy to stay present and just respond to what was in front of me.

A different pace. A different way of seeing—and one I’d love to keep exploring alongside my usual workflow.

Last year, I walked into the Wedding Photography Workshop sponsored by Adorama not knowing what to expect, just hoping to try out some new gear and maybe meet some fellow photographers.
This year, I returned with a different perspective. I knew the energy, the creativity, & the magic that happens when passionate photographers, educators, and makers come together and I knew I didn’t want to miss it.
That’s why I was so flattered when Daniel Norton Photographer from Adorama’s 42 West Learning Center reached out and asked me to share my point of view as a photographer who keeps coming back, and why I will every year.
