The cuddle aggression is REAL! Goodness how I love this boy. (My business namesake & the boy I nearly lost at 14 weeks pregnant.)

He is nearly 10 & never ceases to amaze me with his kind spirit & the love he has for his mama. A true mamas boy to the core.

My Carson Maverick, how I love you so.

Even in the middle of a heavy work day, building a business, & content creating I always want to find space for him.

Moments like this drive me. They remind me why I push every single day to build this business. So I can have choice. (Yes I work late nights & if you see me on my phone I’m working. Mind ya business. 😅 It beats being chained to a desk 9-5 everyday of the week!!)

How are yall surviving out there mamas?

Summer can be rough, best believe these kids are running me through the mud. Honestly though, I wouldn’t have it any other way. 🤎✨

Note to self: Wear my wellies when location scouting. 🌧️

Location scouting is a HUGE part of this business. One of my biggest requirements is safety.

Safe parking, safe environment, safety for my families.

Bucket list: Start location scouting for travel photography!! (Would you book an on location outside of Houston if the location was phenomenal?)

I mean .

Photographers start planning for the fall in July (or earlier) - it is our busiest season!!

That being said I have so many fun fall session ideas that will be a little different from years past.

Announcements coming before the end of the month & early booking brings rewards. 😉👏🏼🖤

Now off to watch Twilight because my algorithm influenced me last night! 😆

Where are my lovers?

Fun fact before I go: A friend of mine from 20 years ago when I had just moved to VA when my husband was stationed in Norfolk put me on to Twilight. I remember we went to a bookstore and she told me she was looking for this book about vampires with an apple on the cover. (She probably doesn’t even remember that, but I do.) Thus igniting a love story between me and one of my favorite sagas. 🖤🍎🐺🦇🥀
