Can I just say how excited I am that it’s hummingbird season in Houston? I’m EXCITED!! These are from last years trip to visit my parents. They have hummingbirds all day long, zooming around, fighting with each other, and hovering over you if you’re on the back porch. Now that my garden is well on its way to being set up and the plants are growing, the hummingbirds should have plenty to drink from and items to pollinate for me.

It’s bluebonnet time y’all! I’ll be doing Bluebonnet minis this year. I have limited spots so let me know if you’d like to have your photos taken in the bluebonnets! Saturday evening, April 2nd. 15 minute time slots- $200, 5+ photos included. Message me if you’re interested. Deposit is $100 to reserve your spot, due at booking and the other $100 is due by Thursday, March 31.

This is a Kiwi Blue Honeywort plant. I threw these seeds in a pot last year and they have thrived and grown and FINALLY started to bloom!!! I’m in love with the delicate blooms! The large bloom here is about an inch in length and about 1/4 inch in diameter. There are 5 bloom heads at the end of each stem. Purple and green is my absolute favorite color combination.
