What positive things have you implemented in your life since the COVID-19 shutdown? I'll start πŸ˜€
I've shifted my thinking around getting things done for my business and realizing what season of life I'm in right now. Realizing that I can't be all the things I want to be, right now. Not being so hard on myself & expecting so much, pushing pause and slowing down.
Regularly participating in a daily heart rhythm meditation practice, let me know if you want to join! I've added the link to my bio and plan to share more about this soon!
Purchased an and have already noticed a difference (one week in) in my productivity and focus. Along with reading "Find Your Why" by and diving into that process with my mom & sister-in-law!
What have you been doing (or not doing) that's been beneficial for you during these times?? I wanna know πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡ @ Big Bend National Park

I haven't been posting much, in fact, the last time I did was a couple of weeks ago talking about all the couples having to post-pone their weddings and imagining how stressful that must be with our anniversary coming up.
And today's our wedding anniversary! I'm so excited, we have a baby sitter & dinner (at home) plans πŸ’ƒπŸ˜¬
All that to say, you're probably going to be seeing less posts on here for a while. I'm going to start focusing my attention inward for a while. Doing yoga regularly, drinking more water, heart rhythm meditations, and finding clarity in my own life... so that I can be my best self and stand up for the ideas & people I believe in with clarity & respect.
I made a post on facebook the other day about just spreading compassion & curiosity during these crazy times. So many people seemed thankful to hear things like that amidst all the crazy going on.
People can be so quick to judge, to hate, to fear, and to gossip, when really the problem is almost always within us. We are feeling insecure, or unclear, or mad with ourselves for not speaking up or not doing our best. What gives us the right to judge & hate on people or situations that we know nothing about.
So, I encourage you to consider spend some of this time at home, taking a look at yourself. Sitting with yourself and listening to your breath, and listening with your heart, to all the chatter up in your head. Who is saying what and why? Listen with only love & curiosity.
And the next time you're feeling judgmental, scared, or hateful towards someone or a situation, take a step back, and extend compassion & curiosity πŸ’•
Maybe even write those words down on post its on your mirror to remind you each morning. Let's spread more compassion & curiosity. Love & kindness. Clarity & support.

Our wedding anniversary is coming up in a couple of weeks and I was imagining about how absolutely insane couples that have weddings planned for this spring must be going. I'm struggling just living my normal life during these times 🀯
The frustration, the sadness, and probably most of all the disappointment. I recently read something somewhere (everything seems to be a blur these days πŸ˜…), about finding peace by using the word "postpone" as opposed to cancel. I found it comforting, maybe you can too.
I mostly wanted to extend my heart out out to all the couples that are having to make difficult decisions regarding their upcoming wedding day plans πŸ’•
If you have any concerns or things you're feeling stuck on, drop a comment and I'd love to help brainstorm alternative options for your day! You don't have to struggle alone, I wanna know πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡

I've been feeling very unlike myself this past week. Another thing that's unlike me is not knowing what exactly it is that's wrong. There's this weird unknown. I'm having a hard time locating it, so that I can get to know & understand it before helping it find another job because it's current one isn't serving me πŸ™
Sounds an awful lot like what's going on these days. It's so weird being in a place of unknown. How are you supposed to know the next step to take? πŸ¦„
The other day I ran across some old time lapse yoga videos I used to post. Yesterday was the first day of a free yoga challenge by and I realized how important yoga used to be to me.
I also have been distancing myself from the news the last few days. Yesterday I read a post that talked about all the good that's happened over the last couple of weeks, despite all the chaos with COVID-19.
Communities are coming together, evictions & water shut offs aren't happening, air pollution is at a low, and "the stock market is no longer an indication of public wellness" πŸ‘πŸ™ŒπŸ‘Œ
Today I did yoga again and felt lighter in my heart. It's been raining all day and I can feel the cleanse coming. How are you handling these times? What's been your favorite party about this past week? I wanna know! πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡ @ Rocky Mountain National Park

AIRSTREAM UPDATE // So if you've been keeping up with our Airstream journey. We were supposed to go pick up the highly anticipated Luna this past weekend.
Well, that didn't happen.
Yet another set back on progress and more last minute items needing to be purchased & shipped out. So we're (not so) patiently waiting to hear a new completion date 🀷😡
I'm excited and also frustrated. Maybe this is just the way these things go, but I'm finding it harder to be understanding & patient πŸ™„
I do know that even if it's another 6 months, she'll be completed much faster than had we done it ourselves, so finding patience & understanding with that πŸ˜‚ @ Barton Green Belt Trail

WEDDING DRESSES // The average cost of a wedding dress in the U.S. is $1,000 which doesn't take into account the $200+ in alterations afterwards.
That's a lot of money for a dress you'll wear one day (not even a full day at that)! While there's a lot of other things you could do with that kind of money, I understand the pressure to look your best on your wedding day! And that include a bangin' gettup πŸ’ƒ!
Did you know... all of these dresses pictured aren't actually "wedding dresses"?? Believe it or not, all of these dresses are well under $100 😱🀯
I'm researching alternative wedding dresses to find some gorgeous & economical options for brides!! Swipe to see a few I've had the pleasure of documenting πŸ‘‰πŸ‘‰
Let me know in the comments if you got a steal on your wedding dress!! I love hearing a good success story πŸ˜… @ Dripping Springs, Texas
