Hi everybody! I haven't given this page much love because the new Trackolytes website/rebrand has been a bit more complex than expected! Photography is an integral part of my business, both as a revenue stream and as a teaching tool. If you haven't yet, go take a look at my photography website. Today is the day, everybody in a few hours; when I wake up, I will be starting the first round of emails first to my current students and then to my mailing list. This new website will save my life and prevent the future I saw if I continue working at the breakneck pace I was. No longer will. I put self-care above anything because I am a tool of nature, and if the tool is rusty and dull, it does not create quality products to be proud of; my students are my pride and joy ever since months of experience, com and Alaska I have a new sense of purpose, I have learned so much in the last year that my ridiculously silly looking original website cost me almost $6000 back when I wish assured I would make money back +25% in my first six months. That would have been nice. The only thing I know for sure is that what I'm heading towards is much better, at least right now, than where I will be leaving. I won't be going far and will come back to Oregon once a month or so to meet with my students. The beautiful thing about the new website is when I start traveling, I can say I will be in the Midwest for three weeks. If you wanna a private class for a day, book me through my schedule! And then let me know, and I will let you know if I can accommodate you. All in all, that will save me a minimum of 10 hours per week. I'm finally getting the hang of this .

Finally! After three days of crushing stomach flu and weeks of editing and sorting photos and videos, I released the first full-length trailer for my upcoming documentary about my trip to and my amazing experiences there. It's more than that, though; it's about the changes I've implemented into my life over the last few months, which culminated in a trip to the far north where I found things I was missing that were holding me back. I will do one more for my trailer, composed of my video journals, and then I will release the full-length documentary as a YouTube live premiere with a Q&A afterward!

As of Photography lesson for the day, I want to share the story of this picture and how
(for anyone over 40 it means fear of missing out) and Photography do not mix. I went to a friends land the other day and I had my wildlife lens on, and I wasn’t seeing much but I was seeing tons of excellent opportunities. The old me would’ve made my friend. Wait while I ran 10 minutes back to the car lenses, came back. Would I have gotten good photos? Still absolutely. But would I have got this photo? Nope. I have been trying for ages to catch a taking of the story? Do the best with the tools you have available to you at the moment

Hello everybody!
I just had an adventure of a lifetime so far north in the great state of Alaska! I have thousands of photos, tons of video, and cell phone footage to go through, and I will be making a documentary about the trip. Stay tuned! I'll also be posting photos on my social media as I edit them, needless to say, after the revelations I came to recently, a trip to was just what I needed, especially when I spent about half the trip alone in an area where the nearest town was 57 miles away. Seeing nothing but wilderness as far as the eye can see was very humbling. I still felt more comfortable there than I do here behind these computer monitors trying to eke out a living, but I learn more every day, and that's what's important. The time I spent up there alone was exactly what I needed to bring my recent revelations into sharper focus, as I was temporarily allowed to be wild and T3 and free again. Other than the issue with my satellite communicator going on the fritz for a few days everything was flawless. So stay tuned because you'll see lots of videos and pictures.

On Monday I take a client 400 miles into the wilderness east of Anchorage to Track, and I’m stoked as this is my 5th trip taking students and clients to but the first time I will see 24 hours of many pics and video when I return!
