I’ve been a little slow with uploading pictures to social media lately—thanks to all of you for keeping me that busy!

This was such a sweet little mini session at the Cullom Jr Fair! Some of my favorite sessions take place at the fairs. There’s just something so special about capturing the memories, traditions, and moments that mean so much to so many people.

The memories made at these fairs are truly unforgettable, and I’m so grateful that I get to capture even a small portion of them. These fairs hold such a special place in so many people’s hearts, and the Cullom Jr Fair is definitely one of those places that feels like home.

Woah… what a FUN summer! This was the perfect rodeo to close it all out, and I couldn’t have asked for a better way to wrap up my season!

Your images are ready!

This was such a fun rodeo to capture, even with the rain rolling in toward the end of the evening! The weather definitely kept things interesting, but it didn’t stop the action.

Garrett Smolkovich

This kid! I’ve known Garrett pretty much his entire life. With his sister being one of my best friends growing up, he spent a lot of time tagging along with us and always kept us laughing. He’s still just the sweetest and is always so quick to greet me with a hug!

I always have so much fun behind the camera when Garrett is in the ring because I know he’s going to give me some good shots! You can tell how much hard work he puts into his pigs and, even more than that, how much he genuinely enjoys what he does.

I have no doubt Garrett is going to do great things! Wishing you the very best of luck during your senior year, Garrett. Thank you for letting me capture these special memories for you. It’s been so much fun watching you grow up, and I’m so excited to see where life takes you!

Jace Adams

This mini senior session at the Kankakee Fair was such a fun one! We managed to sneak around the rain and capture some amazing photos for Jace to cherish throughout his senior year.

I had so much fun bringing his unique ideas to life, especially incorporating his beautiful rooster and Janssen Sweet Corn added such a fun, personal touch and brought so much character to his photos.

Lexa Porth

This session was such a dream! Her location choice couldn’t have been more perfect—from ponds and sunflowers to beautiful grass paths and wildflowers. And of course, we had the most perfect golden light from the sun!

After such a hot week, we were so lucky to have beautiful weather for her session. It truly couldn’t have been a better evening!

**Also, I just got back from the Iowa State Fair, so I’ll be working diligently to catch up on editing and respond to all of your messages! Thank you so much for your patience and understanding!

The Weyrick’s 💛

The last month has been go, go, go for me, so I haven’t had much time to get a whole lot posted! I promise I’ll try to get better!

Last month, I made a trip out to Oklahoma to capture some pictures of my sweet friend Rylee and her husband. It was so good to catch up, have them show me around their stunning property, and share so many laughs together.

These two were clearly meant for each other. Their personalities shine through in every photo, and they had me laughing the entire time.

So thankful I got to spend this time with them and capture a little piece of their love story!

Cullom Jr. Fair auction pictures are up!

These are the final images from the 2026 fair, and as I write this post, I can’t help but feel all those same emotions you feel on the last day of the fair—when everyone is packing up and heading home until next year.

I get the joy of reliving these moments twice: once when I’m taking the photos and again when I get to edit them. The auction at the Cullom Jr. Fair is always a highlight of my year. It’s so easy to photograph when I get to look around and see all those smiling faces. Seriously, every single photo has a smile in it!

How incredible it is to be involved in an industry that so many people are so passionate about because they truly love it—and, at the heart of it all, they do it for the kids.

Thank you, Cullom Jr. Fair, for having me out again. I’m already looking forward to next year’s fair!
