Cousin Stanley graduated high school!

I know I'm way behind on sharing my sessions, but this one was just too good and too special!

Back when I taught Stanley in 5th grade, his mom Tiffany Nurnberger Crofford and I figured out that Stanley and I are distantly related... hence the nickname Cousin Stanley!

Stanley is already seeing success at the Colorado School of Mines out in beautiful Golden, Colorado, and I am so jealous! I love that he wanted to showcase his mountain biking during our session and that he's still participating in the sport while at college.

So excited to watch you accomplish big things, cousin!

For the first time in 17 years, I have missed the first day of school and all of the excitement, nervousness, and anticipation that comes with it. So even though I am completely content in my precious newborn cocoon, I am backtracking to these pictures I took in May to reminisce. I miss all of my old students and I am really looking forward to meeting my new class in a couple months!

This 5th grade session with A was so much fun! He is all personality and took total control - he came up with many of the poses himself and did not hesitate to tell me what he wanted to do! I loved being his teacher and I know that he is killing it so far in middle school!
