Last year I hardly picked up my camera. It was my lowest grossing year since the beginning. I decided to 100% homeschool my girls again. And we grew another girl. It was our first experience with midwives and a home birth. It was hard, it was calming, overall it was incredible. Shannon and Nichole from natural care midwifery were wonderful 10/10! Mom life is amazing it runs all the emotions and still leaves me wondering how I am so blessed. Happy Mother’s Day and happy International Midwives Day!

Take pictures in blue hour in the winter. It’ll be artistic, festive and cool! -No one ever

This is one huge reason I do not like mid fall to late winter outdoor sessions. It’s cold and the cloud cover can make the light near nonexistent. Thank goodness for my camera that can handle it. Still not the quality I wish it was. Now we do get the days when all the things aline and the snow is a perfect reflector and the images are 🤌🏻 I’ll happily schedule those last minute. Until then see you next year. 😘

Hi Shana here, it’s been a while. Life has just been altogether too busy. I haven’t known where to start sharing. Pictury things still happen occasionally, editing is still in process, Christmas things have been happening, life and loss have also been too present. Last month I lost both an uncle and my grandma. This month we celebrated my cousin’s wedding and another cousin’s micro premie baby graduating out of the hospital. Grief and joy, ashes and beauty. In it all God is good.

It wasn’t as epic as back in May but still very exciting to see the lights.
