This year is definitely testing me and reminding me how little control we have. The babies are in charge and *boy* were they this month!

I don’t do sibling births often, but was honored to do so.

4/5 peanuts..
1 cesarean for previa
1 induction that led to cesarean urgently before it could start
And 2 more true emergent cesareans taking my total for the year to 4. These parents are amazing and their babies let us know what they needed. They had great teams keeping everyone safe. (These have all been spontaneous labors)

2 of the babies needed some NICU time again this month

Thank you for trusting me! You all are amazing and it was a little rough and unexpected start for you, but you rocked it with all 6 of your baby boys!!

So many people think birth photography will interrupt… but a good photographer you don’t notice. I’ve had many comments about not remembering things happening, or using for working through what did happen. It’s just so valuable. and while you see photos on my social media, privacy is so important and so many people don’t want to share their photos and that’s OK and should be respected by whatever photographer you choose!!
