Happy Monday. ☀️

I spent the entire weekend doing what I love, and what a blessing that is. My calendar and my heart have been so full lately.

I feel incredibly lucky to have spent time with some of my favorite people, while also meeting so many new faces who have already made such an impact. After one of the hardest and most personal years of my life, it finally feels like I’m finding a new sense of normal.

To everyone who has supported my business, whether you’ve been here from the beginning or just recently found me..thank you. Every booking, every referral, every kind word, every share, and every bit of encouragement has meant more than I can put into words.

Tomorrow I meet with an internal medicine doctor as I continue getting answers and prepare for surgery in a couple of weeks to remove a kidney tumor. It’s a scary season, but it’s also shown me just how much love and community can exist, especially after losing my mom and now facing my own health journey.

Thank you for trusting me to capture your memories and for helping support my small business through all of it. I truly couldn’t do this without you, and I’m grateful beyond words. 🤍📸

I’ve always believed that love doesn’t need a ballroom to be beautiful. Some of the most emotional moments I’ve ever witnessed have taken place in the quiet halls of a courthouse, hands trembling before vows, joyful tears after hearing “I do,” and that unmistakable smile that says, we’re finally married.

There’s something so beautifully ordinary about it, until you bring your baby home. Then suddenly, every room holds a new kind of magic.

Some weddings are grand celebrations, and some are beautifully intimate, but every love story deserves to be documented with care. ❤️

It was such a privilege to capture Victoria and Andrew’s heartfelt elopement and witness the beginning of this new chapter together. There’s something incredibly special about a day that focuses solely on the connection between two people and the commitment they’re making to one another.

Afterward, we had the opportunity to create portraits inside the historic Hardin County Courthouse, and it was truly a photographer’s dream. The stunning architecture, timeless character, and gorgeous natural light pouring through the windows created the perfect backdrop for their portraits. Every corner offered a touch of elegance and history that complemented their love story so beautifully.

One of my absolute favorite things to photograph is an extended family session. There’s just something so wholesome about gathering generations together and preserving the connections that make a family unique. The hugs from grandparents, cousins running around together, parents stealing little glances at their children, and all of those candid, unscripted moments in between.. that’s where the real magic lives.

What was originally planned as a beautiful outdoor session with the Powell family turned into the perfect blend of in-home lifestyle photography and candid moments around their family lake house, and honestly, it was everything.

I always say that the best photographs aren’t just about how things looked, they’re about how they felt. Spending the evening with the Powell family, documenting them in their natural element, was such a joy and a reminder of why I love what I do so much. Thank you for trusting me to preserve these moments and memories for your family. 🤍
