well guys, it’s the end of an era. that sounds dramatic, but this honestly kinda feels dramatic? twentytwentysix is going to be my last year shooting weddings and elopements of any kind.
ugh f**k. this is weirdly so emotional you guys! nine whole years of shooting such important memories, countless states, three fricken countries !!! you guys have brought me on seriously such a wild ride that i look back on and honestly get teary eyed.
i look back on all these amazing couples, all the years, all the clients turned friends and friends turned clients and it really is hard to say goodbye to it. but as my personal life has changed, getting married myself, having bear and planning for the future, it’s just mentally not where i need to be anymore.
closing my books to weddings may not be for forever. but it also may be. maybe it’s a complete goodbye, maybe it’s a see you later. but that’s the fun thing about owning a business. you get to make it work with your life, not against it. and honestly ive had a hard time with that this year especially.
as im sitting here typing this, worm just walked across the room to give me a random hug. and while ive loved loved loved getting to be there with you guys to capture your life’s important moments, i need to be here for mine too.
SO! sappy emotions off lol. what does this mean? honestly that was really dramatic and not a whole lot. literally nothing is changing, im still shooting photo and video and am loooooooving expanding the design side of my business. photo and video shoots are still an option for my brand besties, all lifestyle sessions like fam pics AND ill still be doing engagements! wo! BUT, i will NOT be booking any more weddings beyond 2026. so, getting married at the end of this year or sometime next year and want me to shoot it? still reach out! im open! currently on my books? amazing! i am SO excited for your upcoming weddings this year and next. absolutely nothing is changing in regards to your current bookings. currently inquiring about 2027? you’ll get an email from me explaining im not longer available. welp that’s all for now, happy thursday 🤙🏼🐚🤎🎞️
