Florida Keys Flora: Todays walk I found the Suriname Cherry. Also known as the Pitanga, Star or Brazilian Cherry.

Non toxic to humans; red is sweet to eat - green is bitter. Fun fact: used in wound healing. Sadly I had no wounds nor did I try one, but I will next time.
