I get it. It’s uncomfortable to be in front of the camera.

How lucky are we to live in a time that we will be nostalgic for in the years to come. You deserve photos that will stand the test of time. You deserve to look back when you’re old and gray and remember this moment for exactly how it was. You don’t have to be the perfect, airbrushed, flawless version of yourself that you think you have to be. You are the version of yourself that your partner loves, that brought your children into this world, that your mother raised, that carries you through this lifetime. How special is it to photograph the beautiful moment that we live in, for exactly how we see it now.

I truly have the best job in the whole world. I get to show you just how beautiful you are in my eyes. I want you to bring your messy hair, wrinkled clothes, stretch marks, extra skin, your hesitancies to our session together. That’s what makes you so much more beautiful.

You deserve photos. You deserve to see how beautifully unique you are. You deserve to take up as much space as you need.

you and me at sunset, plus one

what better way to announce the newest addition to your little family by letting me tag along for a fun little date night on the beach! blue hour is one of my favorite times of the day on the beach. the sun just set and the colors of the trees and water are popping against the colorful sky with a nice cool breeze to enjoy.

the details from the previews of c + m’s day at the havana cabana 🌿

something film is able to capture so well is the feeling of the small intimate details. film forces the person shooting it to slow down and craft the image much differently than shooting on a digital camera. film allows me to feel the image. i will always advocate for you to include film on your special day
