Hello and Welcome!

Karrie Porter and Mark Funkhouser are the two photographers that make up the Key West wedding team behind Bridge Imagery.

Karrie has spent over two decades as a photographer. Originally based in Tampa, then later Nashville, and eventually Key West, she has resided in the Keys since 2010. Her work with top photographers in fashion, commercial and sports, combined with her degrees in Photography and Fine Art, and her recognition through awards, publications, and speaking opportunities means that you’re getting someone with a well rounded proven track record of experience in both the photography and the wedding industry. And with a level of patience derived from a lifetime as an avid equestrian and amateur woodworker (of all things!?), there’s nothing you can throw at her that will throw her off her game.

Mark joined the industry after 20 years as a flight medic. Drawn to the both creative and technical nature of the work, he honed his craft through extensive travel shooting with other top wedding photographers. Mark’s creative compositions bring a unique perspective to each moment, and his calm demeanor and analytical approach is a welcome balance to the inevitable nerves and anticipation of an eventful wedding day.

Working together technically since late 2021, Karrie and Mark's professional partnership was solidified in the legacy of one of Key West’s finest wedding photographers, the late Rachel E Ligon, a dear friend, mentor, and fellow photographer, who shaped the landscape of Key West weddings and raised the bar on what it meant to succeed in this industry.

After her sudden passing in August 2023, Karrie and Mark realized a shared appreciation for how her influence had shaped their previously-separate photography careers, and they decided to join forces and continue their wedding work together as a team.

Now, this dynamic duo go into every event with the shared mission to document your day of love and laughter with the highest standards of imaging craft and creativity.
