Most holidays, my sister and I take two days and bake tons of cookies and give platters to our jobs, our doctors, our hairdressers, police stations, emergency room staff, etc. Hopefully we can sell them one day, since we are often asked! =)

Many of you have been asking how you can help in our efforts to bring our bill to a vote. We're planning something that everyone can participate in, statewide, right in our own communities. As you are probably aware, selling home-baked goods as a fundraiser or not-for-profit is completely legal, while selling for profit is not. So we are happy to announce our ***Ironic Bake Sale***.

Here's how you can get involved:

1-The statewide sale will run November 13- November 23, 2016.

2- Decide how many days you'd like to participate, and how you'd like to sell your goods.

3- Check your local ordinances for information on bake sale regulations, especially if you are selling from a public or centralized location. (see link to Department of Health, below.)

4- Visit our website, www.njhomebakersbill.org for printable labels and flyers to accompany your goods.

5- Bake and sell!!! Be creative, be bold, raise awareness for our cause!

6- All monies raised will go directly to our general account to offset costs associated with our lobbying efforts. (Funds may be sent by PayPal to [email protected] or send us a PM us get a mailing address for checks)

Remember, you don't have to sell for all 10 days, but these are the dates we will be making public. Creating awareness in our communities is a great way to garner support and gain momentum.
