I'm sure many of you have heard about the ruling allowing people to simulate child abuse using fictional children which are created by using ai images of kids uploaded online. It's disgusting that anyone would do this, but people like this have been around for centuries and not enough of them are in prison or otherwise.... Okay I'm not going down that rabbit hole...

I'm not going to say I'm going to stop sharing kids pictures online, but what all of my clients know is that there's a section in their contract that asks them how I'm allowed to use their pictures. There are many who choose to not have their pictures used in any capacity and even if it makes me look like I have very little business, I respect that and it's in the contract so it is binding and they have protection.

I'm an artist, but I'm also hired by clients and will respect their privacy no matter how much I want to cry because it's such an amazing portrait or moment.

Did anyone else catch the lunar eclipse last night? I caught the beginning and then a never-ending black cloud covered it the rest of the time. I'm fortunate to have a photographer friend who reminded me it was happening or I would have completely missed it.

Now booking fall mini sessions in the Bear Rocks area at Dolly Sods on September 26th with a rain date of the 27th.

Sessions are 20 minutes each and cost $250 for 10 images or $350 for all. There is a $50 non-refundable retainer due to book. Sessions at 4, 4:30, and 5 are in a lower forest section and 5:30 (taken), 6, and 6:30 are up on bear rocks.

I love to see likes on photos, but I really love seeing pictures of photos I've taken hanging on the walls. One of my absolute favorite things is having a client for a friend and seeing them post a random photo in their home and a picture I took is in the background.

Summer Jam in Keyser was last weekend and if you missed it, you shouldn't have! There was great music, worship, food, bounce house, mechanical bulls, face painting, prayer stations, hot dog eating contest, and many giveaways from organizations/businesses around the area. As you can see, there were plenty of smiles and a little bit of chaos 😄

A big thank you to Everline DJing & Entertainment and all the helpers who make this event happen every year, the community appreciates you all ❤

I had a lovely vacation at the beach last week and while I was there I took pictures of my niece and her family! The last time I took beach pictures was with Erica 13 years ago! I definitely need to add a few more photoshoots on the beach soon 😄

I love working with Deep Creek UNO and the Honi Honi Bar for events because they are so much fun! It was definitely fun watching everyone enjoy the new elephant!
