I met these two over a year ago for a photo shoot in Texas while they were dating, several months later I got to capture their Praposal in Oregon and in May we were in Texas again to capture the wedding.

Getting the chance to capture so much of a couples story feels unbelievably special and I could not be more excited for these two to take on the world together!

Hello Friends!
This summer I will be partnering with 2 camps for kids in the LA foster care system as a volunteer camp photographer and videographer. This is my 8th year getting to be a part of serving the LA foster care population and I am super stoked to be a part of it all!

Every year I have gotten to watch kids realize they are worth of love for the first time, kids get the chance to finally just be kids, and I have even had the chance to watch some kids that have gone to camp come back and reinvest into the foster care community and serve on staff with us because these camps changes their lives!
I would absolutely love it if you would partner with me in this!

All of us volunteers raise money so that the kids that come get to come for free! So truly anything helps from $5-$500 everything goes directly towards making these camps happen. If you are unable to donate please share this reel to help spread the world

I do this work because I love it. Most of my friends make jokes that I am unemployed but the truth is I just Love what I do so much it never seems like I am working because I am always having the best time.

It’s hard to pick a favorite part of my job but if I had to try I’d say it has to be the time I get to spend with my clients! It is such a gift to be invited into the story! To see and hear things that often is only ever meant for the eyes or ears of the one you love the most.

My day with L+B could not have been more special! From getting ready to the afterparty my day was full of getting to see the love and care they have for each other as well as there friends and family and it was one of those days I could not help but tear up a few times and think “gosh I feel so lucky to do what I do”

there was something really special about this day.
nothing felt forced. no pressure to make things look perfect. just two people fully present with each other and the people they love most.
the laughter was real, the tears were real, and every part of the day felt intentional in a way that’s hard to put into words.
days like this always leave me saying, “I can’t believe this is my job” grateful feels like not big enough of a word

This one is deep and personal…

Four hundred and ninety nine days ago I made one of the most abrupt decisions I’ve ever made and I moved from Maui to Oregon with no warning.

A lot of people have asked me “why would you leave such a beautiful place” and depending on who it was I would share accordingly but the main thing I told most people was that it was better for business.

I’ve always been a pretty open and honest person and I’m someone who believes that sharing is a fundamental part of being human. I guess this is my small effort to live in that truth today.

I left Maui as an effort to heal.

I have known for a while that a part of healing is to be vulnerable but as someone who has never really shied away from saying the hard thing it has always been easy for me to come off as the “most vulnerable person in the room” without really revealing my cards too much.

today I want to practice vulnerability.

At the end of 2024 I was r***d by a man 2x my size. I was hit, held down and left feeling more disconnected from my body than I knew what to do with.

It is hard not to feel like I put myself in a position for it to happen, like maybe if I was stronger that would not have happened, or that somehow it was only a matter of time.

Healing is one of those things that takes a lot of time, it’s hard and scary and painful and if I’m honest there is a lot about it that I don’t understand.

something I do know to be true… showing up authentic whatever that looks like for you is a really great way to practice cleaning your wounds so that your healing won’t leave you with as many scars as it could.

I’ve been practicing a lot of things the past year to put myself in a better place to heal. I buy myself flowers to remind myself to smile even on sad days, I got back in the gym even when for so long I didn’t want to look at myself and today I am giving myself the freedom to be authentic online again.

I don’t share this for sympathy but I think practicing honesty is important.

Today may you know that vulnerability is the foundation that healing is built on.

Today may you know that it was not your fault.

Today may you know you are not alone 🧡
