It really can be this simple. 🤍

M + Z got married at the Grafton Inn, surrounded by beautiful gardens, rolling hills and a quiet little river.

They kicked off their shoes, put on their Crocs, and shared their vows while standing in the river together. No elaborate production. No need for everything to be perfectly planned. Just the two of them, soaking it all in and doing things their way.

And honestly? It was pretty perfect.

A little reminder that your wedding day doesn’t have to be complicated to be incredibly meaningful.

Let’s talk about engagement sessions for a sec. I’ll make it quick.

Do you NEED to book one? No.
Should you book one? Maybe.
Will you regret having photos of this exciting time of your lives? Never.

Let me break it down. Here’s why an engagement session is worth considering:

✨ You get photos that aren’t about the wedding.
No wedding clothes, no timeline. Just the two of you, exactly as you are right now.

✨ You get comfortable in front of my camera.
If the thought of being photographed makes you a little nervous, an engagement session is basically a low-stakes practice round. By the time your wedding day rolls around, you’ll already know what to expect from me.

✨ You get to document this part of your story.
You’re engaged. You’re planning a life together. These pieces of your life deserve to be remembered, too.

✨ You can make it completely about YOU.
Want to hike? Let’s hike. Want to make dinner at home? I’m in. Want to get dressed up and wander around downtown? Perfect. Engagement sessions don’t have to look like engagement sessions.

Tucker turned TWO yesterday.

This silly goose is the coolest little kid I know. God knows who he gets it from, ‘cause certainly it ain’t me! 🤷🏼‍♀️

I am so proud and so incredibly lucky to be his mama.

A picture perfect, laid back wedding in New Hampshire. This was a fun one!

Tess and Joe made it so easy to photograph their day. They kept it simple. A few candids of getting ready, a first look with private vows (truly private - I wasn’t even photographing them). The most heartfelt ceremony being married by their siblings. And of course, getting down on the dance floor with all their favorite people.

Proof that when you focus on the things that matter (and not all the extra wedding day fluff), it’s so easy to be present and you come away with joyful memories to last a lifetime.
