Some friendships enter your life in the most unexpected ways… and somehow become the ones you’re most thankful for. 🤍

Getting to photograph my sweet friend Emily was such a special reminder of why I fell in love with photography in the first place. I truly love how photography has brought our friendship even closer through the years.

It’s crazy how people find each other in this world, and we definitely have a story on how we met 😅 — but all I can say is I’m so thankful our paths crossed. The universe definitely made sure we were meant to be photography friends. ✨ Life has a funny way of bringing the right people together at the right time.

A photoshoot with my mother-in-law at this gorgeous location Full Bloom Farm House VA ✨
She had a blast getting her hair and makeup done and felt absolutely beautiful—inside and out.

The sweetest lil guy I get to call my great nephew 💙
His first birthday was definitely one for the books — a little chaotic, a bit delayed, and absolutely worth the wait!

We finally got around to doing his birthday photos a couple of weeks later (because life happens!), and wouldn’t you know it… it turned out to be the hottest day of the year so far! ☀️🥵

But this trooper handled it like a champ, and we wrapped it all up with a splash in the creek — cool water, happy giggles, and the perfect ending to a summer birthday shoot.

Love this little guy and these sweet memories we got to make 🥰📸💦

Ooo what fun we had capturing these sweet moments 🐔📸

I promised Avery a birthday photoshoot, and at first, she wanted to be an angel... but nothing seemed to come together. Then I noticed how much she loves helping mommy with the chickens at home — and I knew that was her moment to shine ✨

As you can see, she didn’t disappoint — she never does. Watching her with Pearl and listening to everything she said during the shoot... I’ll treasure it forever 💛

Her sister wasn’t exactly a huge fan of the chickens 🐓😂 but we managed to get a few with her too — and they’re just as special.

Aunt Julie loves you so much, Avery. You're a star in every way 🌟

Watching these guys light up with excitement as they waited to go up in the air was entertainment enough for me 😄 I stayed safely planted on the ground, thank you very much! 😂 But the real joy? Seeing their huge smiles as they came off the helicopter—that was priceless. The Army sure knows how to entertain everyone’s families, and I absolutely loved every second of it! 🚁✨

Fifteen years ago, I met this sweet girl and her family when she was just turning ONE—and now here we are, capturing yet another milestone together. 🎉📸

Time truly flies, and I’m beyond grateful to have been a part of their journey through the years. From first birthdays to first dances and everything in between, being trusted to preserve these memories means the world to me. 💛

This moment was even more special with her closest friends by her side—laughing, dancing, and making memories together. Watching her grow and celebrate surrounded by love is what makes this job so meaningful.
