I owe y’all the biggest apology.
I’ve been very MIA, and honestly… July kicked my entire ass.
Mentally, I haven’t been in the best place, and somewhere between editing, life, trying to keep up with messages, and pretending I had everything under control, I hit a level of burnout I didn’t even realize was possible.
The funniest (and rudest) part? I asked my sister’s tarot cards what was going on, and they basically looked me dead in the eyes and said, “You’re a burnt-out clown.” 🤡💀 I wish I was exaggerating, but honestly… that is the most accurate reading I’ve ever received. 😂
On top of all of that, imposter syndrome has been hitting me harder than it ever has. Some days I look at my work and wonder why anyone would ever choose me. Some days I convince myself everyone else is doing it better, and if I’m being completely honest… there have been moments where I’ve wanted to throw in the towel and just give up.
But I’m trying.
I’m trying to give myself grace. I’m trying to take care of my mental health. I’m trying to remember why I fell in love with photography in the first place. I’m trying to believe that one bad month doesn’t define me.
To every single person who has messaged me to book a session, reschedule, ask a question, or just check in… I am so so sorry. I’m behind on messages on both my business page and my personal page, and I know some of you have been waiting way longer than you should have. You deserved better communication from me, and I’m genuinely sorry.
If you’ve messaged me about booking or rescheduling and you’re still interested, please drop a 💜 below (or send me one in Messenger) so I can work through everyone in order without accidentally missing anyone.
To everyone who has been patient, understanding, and has continued to support Fable & Honey even while I’ve been hiding in my editing cave having an existential crisis… Thank you. Seriously. I don’t think you realize how much your kindness has meant to me. I love every single one of you more than you’ll ever know.
I’m not magically “fixed” overnight, and I’m trying really hard to take better care of myself so I can show up as the photographer, editor, and human being that you deserve. Recovery isn’t instant, but it is happening.
We’re coming back better than ever… just a little slower than my brain thought we would. 😂
Thank you for sticking with me through the chaos, the silence, the burnout, and while I’ve been trying to find myself again. I promise I’m finding my way back.
Now… who’s ready to make some magic again? 🖤✨
