Our sweet Baby Jed has arrived and completed our family! We couldn’t be happier! He made his quick arrival (4 minutes and 2 pushes) yesterday, and is a BIG boy at 8lbs 10oz! His big brothers are obsessed, and we have been in the blissful newborn bubble all day!🥹

The last couple of weeks have felt a little strange.

For the first time in years, my calendar has slowed down as I step into maternity leave and wait for baby boy to make his arrival. Aside from a short break when I had my youngest, I’ve photographed families, newborns, and mothers consistently for the last five years.

And honestly? This season has reminded me just how much I truly love what I do.🫶🏻

I love preserving the sweet, fleeting seasons of your life. But beyond the photographs themselves, I love everything that comes with caring for my clients well.

I love helping you choose outfits and pulling options from my client closet. I love coordinating hair and makeup appointments so you can simply show up and be taken care of. I love designing albums and printed artwork that allow your memories to live somewhere other than a phone screen.

Because to me, this has never been about delivering a gallery and moving on.

It’s about creating an experience where you feel seen, celebrated, and supported from the moment you inquire until your images are hanging on your walls years later.

Every family who trusts me with their memories matters deeply to me. You’re never just another session on my calendar or another gallery in an editing queue.

This sunset. This family. Their sweet energy. It was all absolutely perfect!😍

There are so many moments I’ll forever be “homesick” for: those last weeks before adding a new baby, the freshness of your newborn in your arms, the night before your little one has a birthday.

So grateful I could document this sweet season for this beautiful family before there are four🥹

I’ve wanted to be a mom for as long as I can remember… even when I was little, it was always the dream.

And now here I am—growing another little life, while loving on the ones who made me a mama first. This season is full in every sense of the word… a little chaotic, a little exhausting, but so incredibly meaningful.

Motherhood has stretched me, softened me, and changed me in the best ways. It’s not always easy, but it’s always worth it.

Happy Mother’s Day to the mamas in the thick of it, the ones soaking it in, and the ones still longing for their turn. 🤍
