“So damn lucky” 📸

It’s a bit like a fever dream after every time I get to photograph Dave Matthews Band at The Gorge Amphitheatre because I get to relive how it felt to be a fan up on the terraces who looked forward to every summer.

Something about being able to go from sneaking in a camera in my bra to saying “I shoot for the house” feels so full circle and I can’t believe I have the actual job I dreamed up at 19. (Still haven’t ever met him though so if any of you out there can make that a thing let me know. 😅)

“August, Honey, You were mine” 📸 Highlight reel of fun photography ops and general Seattle summer merriment 🥰

Loved all the golf cart driving, Roper Romping, concerts, real estate, new ink and finally got out on the paddleboard a few times! Favorite night was working for Lionel Richie at his Climate Pledge show - yikes just heard he’s in the hospital?! Summer certainly isn’t over yet but this has sure been a memorable one!

Outdoor summer concert evenings are just my favorite and this past Tuesday was no exception. The weather was perfect, the vibes were good and I had a great time shooting for Seattle Refined covering Courtney Barnett Built To Spill and Zoh Amba at Woodland Park Zoo 📸

Got to cover the Pop 2000 Tour last week for Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel and props to all these guys for being so cool and funny while all these millennial women still scream at them up on stage every night - What a life!

When you get a last minute opportunity to shoot Chris Stapleton and Grace Potter playing The Gorge Amphitheatre for Live Nation Concerts for 2 HOT days in the peak of summer you drop everything and go right?! RIGHT! 🤩

Summer so far… 📸
Lots of really fun photography work has come and gone already this summer with concerts, golf tournaments, real estate and a few fantastic parties! I’m the mother of a graduated adult now, that’s weird. My son is about to learn to drive, also weird. My beautiful friends got hitched, and I love my new home so much it is hard to ever get me to leave it.

All we ever do
Is all we ever knew…

First time covering a show out at last weekend for homecoming shows in Seattle. Loved seeing and open up the night and was top tier. What a great new venue, especially loved the free parking situation!

One of my very favorite bands came to town and I got to cover their show for a publication, sometimes when I get a little tired I have to remind myself that this is exactly what I wanted for my career and I’m so happy to get to do it! Onto the next! 📸

I thought last year’s Steak Out was a peak career experience until I found out that I was personally requested back again this year 🤯

A perfect John Howie steak cooked by the actual John Howie sent home with me for the editing hours after
Watching over 1 MILLION dollars get raised for Fred Hutch in 3 hours - incredible!

Nights like that remind me why I “went for it” with photography and I’m so grateful for those little reminders that I’m literally have my dream job.
