Not only do I get to make new friends with every wedding couple who chooses me as their photographer, but I also get the ultimate hours-long hang sessions with my BFF’s/assistant shooters.

I truly couldn’t do wedding days without my gals shooting right alongside me. They make the long days so much more fun, keep me laughing+ organized, and are basically the best “coworkers” I could ask for.

She put her wedding dress back on... on a random Wednesday evening.

Eight years later, no wedding timeline. No guests. No pressure. Just the two of them, soaking in a love that’s only grown deeper with time.

And honestly? I think every couple deserves photos like these.

Not every family session has to happen in a flower field or surrounded by picture-perfect scenery.

Sometimes the most meaningful place is home.

This entire session happened in their own backyard, doing what they love most: swimming, laughing, making jokes, splashing around, and simply being together. It didn’t feel like a photoshoot. It felt like a Saturday afternoon that just happened to be documented.

And that’s exactly the kind of magic I love to capture.

The moments your kids will remember one day won’t always be the perfectly planned ones. They’ll be the cannonballs, the giggles, the pool games, and the way home felt.

Home has a way of slowing everything down.

The way they gathered together by the window, the little smiles, the cuddles, the moments that probably feel ordinary now but won’t always be.

Some wedding days are beautiful, and then there are wedding days that leave a lasting impact on your heart. Drew and Chayney’s wedding at Historic Ashland was one of those days.

From the moment guests arrived, worship music filled the space, gently turning everyone’s hearts and minds toward what the ceremony was truly about. This wasn’t just two people getting married. It was two people entering into a covenant with God at the very center of their marriage.

Before the ceremony, Drew and Chayney shared private vows, and they were some of the most genuine, heartfelt words I’ve ever had the privilege of witnessing. Every word was filled with gratitude for the gift of finding each other and the promise of forever, made before God and surrounded by the people who love them most.

There were happy tears from the very beginning, and they never really stopped. During communion, one of their dear friends sang the most beautiful hymn, creating one of those moments where time seemed to stand still. You could truly feel the Lord’s presence throughout the entire ceremony.

Their bridal party brought an energy I’ll never forget. They celebrated these two so well, were fully present in every moment, and loved them with such genuine joy. It was so evident that Drew and Chayney are surrounded by incredible family and friends, and that kind of love shines through in every image.

What an honor it was to capture a day that was about so much more than beautiful details. It was a celebration of faith, commitment, and a love that is firmly rooted in Christ. I’m so thankful I got to witness it all.

Two cultures, two ceremonies, and one beautiful love story 🤍

Shubhi and Jeremy’s Hindu wedding at the Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square was every bit as joyful, vibrant, and heartfelt as you would imagine. From the festive Baraat to the meaningful Chooda ceremony, two bridal entrances, and two first dances, every moment was crafted with so much love and intention. It was the definition of celebrating both cultures!

The pups even joined in their wedding day best!

A day full of family, tradition, and pure joy. How beautiful is it when two cultures and two families come together as one?!
