Beyond tired & beyond thankful for this valley I get to call home + the people who fill it!

I had the privilege of running around alllllll weekend capturing all things Inter-Mountain Fair, and what a fair it was. Thankful I got to hug and say hi to so many of you, cheered on livestock shows, rodeos, competitions, events, had great fair food, laughed too much, and had a dang. great. time.

I’m not sure what the population requirement for “it takes a village” is, but I’m thinking it’s somewhere around the size of our valley’s headcount. Being behind the scenes TRULY makes you appreciate all the moving pieces and people and work that goes into this event that is so important to our community. Thanks to the whole team behind it all, the IMF staff and Heritage Board, all those who helped in preparation and to support and volunteer this weekend, thanks to everyone who showed up to have FUN at the fair… see ya here same time, same place, next year!! 🎡🇺🇸🎠🎢🎟️🦄📸

Inter-Mountain Fair !!! I'm running around allllll weekend being in as many places as I can be! Photos ARE going to be available for purchase. In the gallery, they are PROOFS (meaning completely unedited, for the sake of getting them your way right away!) Note all the different tabs that will be added to as I have them.

You can 'LIKE' with the heart icon your favorite images to keep 'em all in one spot, and can place an order using the 'shopping cart icon'... orders will be filled (lightly color corrected/cropped/and ready for perfection) starting on Tuesday (09/08) and will be sent in a separate email your way for download then. Life has been busy and time sure goes fast, but I’m so so thankful to have a job that takes me exploring the most stunning places with some of the best folks, capturing memories and making my own along the way!

got to show of some gorgeous beef cuts from the crew over in the verryyyy most corner of CA 1867 Fee Ranch Meat Co

The Fee crew does a wonderful job raising cattle in Surprise Valley country with a whole lot of family history (since 1867, hence the name!)

Masten Ramsey Memorial is always one of my MOST favorite events of the year. I’m tellin’ ya, some of the BEST horses and hands can be found at a stockhorse/ranch horse show/rodeo. These horses are WORKING horses with a pretty handle, the best of both worlds. Truly what a horse is made to be~ showing off their natural beauty and movement with the capability to do the jobs they’re designed for. Thankful for tradition and good horses that continue to fill our communities. Thankful to be able to capture ‘em! Till next year Masten Ramsey Memorial 🇺🇸🐴💗

my favorite photos (especially family photos!) are the ones that feel most like YOU! At home, in the pasture, by the barn in the yard... Let the kids play, bring the horses & ponies & dogs, don't worry about things "feeling perfect". These friends of mine are always SO much fun to photograph, and it's so special to see these cowkiddos growing up so quick with photos to capture each year and milestone as they do it ! 💗
