Danessy & Johan | Engagement Session at Lenz Photography

Some of our favorite connections start in the most unexpected places. We met Danessy and Johan at a local restaurant we frequent near our home, and after a few visits and great conversations, we became friends. Eventually, we shared our work with them—and we were honored when they told us they loved our style and wanted us to photograph their engagement session.

Their shoot was laid back and fun. We talked about food, culture, and life, and they shared so much about their backgrounds, which made the experience feel personal and relaxed. Danessy and Johan came in with amazing outfit choices and a clear vision for a classy, timeless look—and they absolutely delivered. They’re a genuinely sweet couple, and we’re so grateful they trusted Lenz Photography to capture this special season for them in our studio.

Lenz Photography is proud to present 39 Iconic Senior Portraits of Landon, Sevier County High School Percussionist!

Continuing onwards with our series of musicians, Landon is the second high school senior we’ve had the chance of photographing in the studio. Landon and his parents were good company and we enjoyed hosting them. Not only did we have a great time photographing Landon, but we also enjoyed watching drum corps competitions and showing off our Pokemon collections. I dare you to look cute, little Pikachu in the eyes and tell him that doesn’t sound like the perfect day!

Landon is a Senior at Sevier County High School where he plays snare drum for that Marching Smoky Bear Band. Sticking to the theme with this series of musicians, we wanted to create a cinematic lighting set up that tells a story with shape, quality, and color. During this studio session, we accentuated the style of Landon’s uniform by shaping and controlling our light sources and blending the signature Sevier County Smoky Bears Purple. The smoke, lighting, and water accompanied with Landon’s drumming techniques made for some Iconic images!

Landon is a talented, young man. We’d like to thank him for his patience and cooperation during the session. A huge shout out goes to Landon, his family, and the Marching Smoky Bears Band! Good luck and we hope you have an amazing season!
