You’ve probably heard by now that Drybar has officially arrived in Knoxville, bringing the national blowout-only salon to Turkey Creek.

I had the opportunity to photograph branding images for their recent VIP Knoxville advertisements, and it was such a fun project. Steve and Sara have created a beautiful space, and their team couldn’t have been more welcoming.

Sharing a few images I captured of The Landmark for its recent feature in VIP Knoxville.

The Landmark in Downtown Maryville is a beautifully restored 1933 event venue with a strong sense of character—warm wood, exposed brick and a layout that works just as well for large gatherings as it does for more intimate moments.

Downtown Maryville has grown so much over the years, and I always enjoy any opportunity to get back there. My first job out of college was at the Altar’d State office just up the road.

Sharing a few portraits I photographed of the stunning (and so sweet) Caity Savage last year.

We stepped outside of her practice for just a few minutes between appointments and ended up shooting right on the edge of the parking lot with a wall of Knoxville kudzu as our backdrop. Caity is so naturally photogenic that we were able to create something beautiful in the simplest of settings.

Loved photographing luxury travel advisor Courtny Rinehart for her feature in VIP Knoxville’s February issue.

Courtny had a clear vision for these images and it was so fun bringing it to life. And this bedroom…the color and pattern everywhere made it such a great space to shoot in.
