🤍 A little update from Photos by Savannah Grace 🤍
Hey friends! With the recent conversations and posts surrounding laws and regulations regarding children and social media, I wanted to take a moment to share the direction I’ll be taking my business moving forward.
As the sole owner and photographer of Photos by Savannah Grace, I started this business while pregnant with my daughter. At the time, it was simply a way for me to get out of the house, explore a hobby, and have something positive to focus on while I was on bed rest. I never imagined that little hobby would grow into the business and career that it has become, and I truly thank God every day for the opportunity to do what I love.
I was once told that I would never be a mother, so motherhood and my daughter are things I hold incredibly close to my heart. Knowing firsthand what a gift my child is, I’ve always been extremely protective of children and their safety. 🤍
Over the past three years, I have been incredibly blessed to photograph so many beautiful families, sweet little ones, milestones, and memories. I am so grateful for every family who has trusted me to capture those moments.
With that being said, moving forward, I will no longer be sharing photographs of children on my social media platforms.
Model release forms have always been completely optional, and I have never shared a child’s images without parental approval. However, with the current conversations surrounding children and social media, I personally no longer feel comfortable publicly sharing images of children on my business pages.
Because of this, model release forms will be removed from future bookings, and my online portfolio will gradually transition to showcasing primarily adult sessions.
This does NOT mean I am stopping family photography. 🤍
I will still happily photograph your families, little ones, holiday cards, mantle photos, birthdays, milestones, family events, and all of those fun, love-filled moments in between. Your photos will still be yours to cherish, print, share privately with family, and enjoy for years to come.
The only difference is that I will be keeping those precious little faces off of my public business pages.
Thank you to every single person who has trusted me with your memories over the past three years. Your support has allowed this little hobby I started while pregnant to become something I could have never imagined. I am so incredibly grateful. 🤍
Thank you for understanding and respecting this decision as I continue to navigate both motherhood and this business I love so much.
