Can’t believe twenty years ago today, I went to Parris Island and stood on the yellow footprints to earn the title of a United States Marine. And for the next 4 years, I endured some of the greatest and hardest moments of my life. I’d do it all over again in a heartbeat.

Here’s the only photo I really have of that time also the last time I was seen with a shaved face.
