I show up at every wedding with a bag of trinkets and ribbons in case I think I *need* something extra for detail shots. Joke is always on me though. As if my random bag of goods would outdo the textures and character found in the environments I work in… in this case, it was the barn wood, hay bales and old milk cans at the bride’s parents’ house that did it for me 🙌🏼

I didn’t make a “wrapped” post. To be honest, I’m still rooted in the season of rest and reset. But I’m slowly getting back to a place where I’m ready to go back through my most recent archives to share the beautiful souls I’ve been privileged to interact with, observe and document in a way that speaks truthfully. It’s always interesting to see how the wedding photo world evolves. Candid/less-posed/nontraditional timelines/etc have always been core in my work and experience with clients, and while my marketing game really isn’t changing (there’s no strat other than sharing the work and making friends with the souls I meet), I’m still here to spam you in waves with moments I’ve captured and I hope you enjoy the stories, regardless of the trends 🫶🏼

Our Story

Hi there! My name is Emma and I'm a 25 year-old momprenuer that lives for documenting life’s adventures... whether it be the day you marry the love of your life, taking on life's every day craziness as a parent, quite literally hiking up mountains, or snuggling up in a hammock together... however you choose to live! I was raised in the rugged woods of Northern Michigan and have an affinity toward black coffee + hard rock music. A biologist by degree, local ecology is my jam + my clients know that I nerd out over lichens (those little plant-like things that grow on rocks and trees that people mistake for moss). When I’m not behind the camera, you can find me working on my family’s orchard along Keweenaw Bay. I'm so happy you've landed on my page!
