Update*. This wildfire is now at 1500 acres. 8:45pm 6/6

The Butte/Chesnut wildffire 🔥 on the backside of Chelan Butte, not too far from the town of Chelan. They have planes and helicopters on it, when I was filming this coming back over the mountains. Hopefully they can get this one under control. They were on it pretty quick!

After chasing storms near Amarillo, I decided to head north for about an hour and finally arrived in the small town of Spearman, Texas. Along the way, a message came over the radio about a severe storm ahead. I chose to stay back a little to let the storm move east of the highway. They were calling for 2-inch hail, and I really didn’t want to get caught in that, especially at 11pm. I found a spot on the road where I captured this incredible lightning strike above me and the pumpjack!
