Not a buck, but I thought this was interesting and worth sharing.

I found this doe while searching for a buck. This doe was shot Saturday and was lost by the hunter. I found it late morning of Monday, still with enough heat to grab my attention.

Due to an unexpected case of “Drone Suddenly Falling Out of the Sky,” all drone operations have been temporarily suspended until repairs are complete or the unit is replaced.

In the meantime, check out my good friend Matt from Drone.Notics for similar services, he does great work and is also based out of La Crosse.

This happening in early November is a huge bummer. Hopefully we are back up and running before the end of the season. Stay tuned.

Located a fatally wounded buck last night. Hunters tracked a short distance before deciding to back out. The buck expired overnight and didn’t move an inch from where I found him, leading to a successful recovery. Congratulations, he’s a good one!

This goes to show, when deer are not bumped, the odds of finding them are much better. When in doubt, pull out!
