Most of the photography I shoot is real estate, product and portrait. I really appreciate all aspects of photography. Am confident I could handle any event or task, and I also shoot video. Part 107 licensed and insured drone pilot with great than 200 hours in the air. Shooting with a Nikon D780, Nikon D7500, Ricoh Theta Z1, Ricoh Theta V, DJI Mavic 2 Pro, and Samsung Galaxy S8.

With how good the sunsets have been over the past week, I went to Newport Beach looking for something dramatic. Not the drama I was looking for but wow is all I could think when I got my first look from the air. The marine layer started moving in as the sun fell to the horizon. The result was this magenta and purple cast over the entire area.

A crystal clear night in Southern California to capture the "Snow Moon." Also know as a Micromoon because it is at its furthest from Earth. The name Snow Moon comes from the heavy snowfall usually associated with it in the Northern Hemisphere. Which is quite ironic when you consider it was at least 70F when I captured this on one of the warmest days of the year so far.

I am no astrophotographer but the second photo is quite remarkable considering I captured Jupiter and a few of the orbiting moons with the low end Nikkor 28-400 / F 4-8 Lens paired with the high quality Nikon Z8. The Z8 image was large enough to allow me to crop it heavily, revealing the signature bands of Jupiter. I am literally blown away. Over the past 2 weeks I have been messing around with Jupiter using manual focus and exposure to try and see any glimpse of it and it was never clear enough to capture it. Tonight I got lucky. And yes its a bit pixelated but it is 400 million miles away.
