Today, we pause to remember September 11, 2001 — a day that changed our nation forever 25 years ago.❤️🇺🇸
For those of us who witnessed the tragedy that day, we will never forget where we were, what we were doing, or the moment the world seemed to stand still.🤍
We remember the innocent lives taken far too soon. We remember the families who lost someone they loved. We remember the firefighters, police officers, first responders, military members, and ordinary people who showed extraordinary courage. We remember those who ran toward danger while others were running away.
And we remember the countless lives that were forever changed that day.💔
Twenty-five years later, the pain may look different, but the memories remain. May we never allow time to make us forget the sacrifices, the courage, the heartbreak, and the incredible moments of compassion that emerged from one of our nation's darkest days.🩷🤍
Today, we pray for the families who still carry that loss. We pray for those whose lives were changed forever. We pray for the survivors and those who continue to carry the physical and emotional scars.
And we pray for our nation.🇺🇸❤️🇺🇸
🙏 Lord, comfort those who are still hurting. Surround them with Your peace. Give strength to those who carry memories that never fade, and remind us that even in our darkest moments, You are near.
May we never forget.
May we continue to love one another.
May we choose kindness over hatred.
May we cherish the precious gift of life.
And may we always remember that even when the world feels broken, God is still with us.
🇺🇸 September 11, 2001 — We Remember. We Honor. We Will Never Forget. 🇺🇸
🙏❤️ God bless those we lost, their families, our first responders, and the United States of America.
Never forget. 🇺🇸
God Bless,
~ Kristie
