I'm honored to share that "Beak to Beak" has been awarded First Place – Fine Art in the American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP) Best Of... 2026 competition.

This image captures a brief, quiet exchange between a loon parent and chick—one of those moments that is easy to miss, yet says so much through a simple gesture. I chose a restrained black-and-white treatment to remove distraction and focus on connection, care, and proximity.

Beak to Beak is part of my ongoing project, Quiet Places Remain, an exploration of solitude, stillness, and the quiet persistence of wild places.
I'm grateful to the judges at ASMP for this recognition and to everyone who has supported my work. Thank you.

I’m honored to share that my solo exhibition, Quiet Places Remain, is now on view at Belknap Mill in Laconia, New Hampshire.

This exhibition marks the first public presentation of an ongoing body of work exploring solitude, wilderness, and the quiet persistence of wild places. These photographs were created over years from the mountains and coastlines of Iceland to the forests, lakes, and wildlife closer to home.

If you’re in the Lakes Region, I hope you’ll stop by and spend some time with the work. These photographs are meant to be experienced at the scale they were created for, where the quiet details and relationships can unfold slowly.

Thank you to Kim and everyone who has encouraged and supported this journey. It means more than I can say, and I’m grateful to finally share this work.

I’m excited to have two pieces from my Quiet Places Remain series on display this summer at the annual New Hampshire Art Association exhibition at Sheafe Warehouse in the heart of Prescott Park.

Featured are Spirit of Hofsós and Silent Sentinel, both photographed in Iceland and both part of an ongoing exploration of solitude, stillness, and the persistence of wild places.

The exhibition features work from more than 30 NHAA artists, with original works available throughout the summer. If you’re visiting Portsmouth, stop in, say hello to the artists staffing the gallery, and spend some time with the work.

We’re thrilled to welcome photographer Jeremy Bonin of J Bonin Photography to the Mill, presenting his “QUIET PLACES REMAIN” exhibition in our Riverside Gallery next month!

QUIET PLACES REMAIN marks the first public presentation of an ongoing body of work by Jeremy Bonin exploring solitude, wilderness, and the fragile persistence of wild places. Through contemplative photographs of landscape and wildlife, the exhibition examines places where natural silence and ecological integrity still endure. The work is not about spectacle, but about what quietly remains—often overlooked and increasingly rare. Beneath the imagery is an awareness that these places are not untouched, but have thus far resisted ecological, cultural, and perceptual pressures. It is both a meditation on wildness and a quiet call for conservation.

I’m excited to have a selection of my wildlife and landscape photographs on display at Analog Coffee in Franklin, NH throughout the month.

These images are part of Quiet Places Remain, my ongoing exploration of solitude, wilderness, and the quiet persistence of wild places.

If you’re nearby, stop in for a coffee, espresso, and one of their baked goods, and spend a few moments with the work while you’re there. Analog has become a favorite in downtown Franklin, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to share these photographs in such a welcoming space.

Honored to have five works included in The Large and Small of It, now on view at the New Hampshire Art Association.

This exhibition opens NHAA’s 2026 season by exploring how size and scale shape the way we experience art—placing intimate works alongside larger pieces and inviting viewers to shift perspective as they move through the gallery.

Included in the show:
Consent — 48 × 48 inch, archival pigment print on canvas, hand UV-coated, float framed, Certificate of Authenticity with matching holograms.
