It's because there's something magical about this time of year. Maybe it's the way that soft autumn light makes everyone's skin glow, or how kids actually want to snuggle close when there's a little chill in the air.
Your family, exactly as you are right now - with your toddler's current obsession with collecting leaves, your teenager who might actually smile for photos when they're not melting in summer heat, the way you all naturally gravitate toward each other when the air gets crisp.
This season passes so quickly, and honestly? These moments you're living right now won't look exactly the same next year.
