Since I began my journey in photography I’ve always felt a huge connection to black and white photography. The art of being able to just use gray tones to create depth and emotion in a photograph was fascinating to me. I took a lot of inspiration for the great Ansel Adams with how he could make landscapes feel so alive with just grayscale then later once I moved into music photography I found the work of and how he’s able to use grayscale to capture so much emotion at shows. As I was developing my own style I wanted to replicate those principles in my own way. These series of photos I took Saturday of the man, Woody Weatherman of at their show in New Orleans. These are some of my favorite monochrome captures I’ve ever done!
