Maybe a bit late, but I did take a couple of photos of The Great Conjunction last month.

This is actually a cropped composite of two exposures since the moons of Jupiter were so much more dim. I've also tweaked it quite a bit to make the rings of Saturn pop some.

What I have learned is that 500mm is not long enough for capturing these celestial events. Next time I'm going to look into getting a telescope.

Santa Maria De Montserrat Abbey

If anyone ventures to Montserrat, I recommend avoiding a group tour. When I arrived mass was beginning. Visitors are not allowed inside the cathedral during mass and we weren't able to wait for an hour.
