Highlights from Zach and Claire's proposal just hit the blog!
We met up at Peace Water Winery in Carmel, Indiana for their proposal. Zach had worked out all the detail with Peace Water, myself, and a couple of Claire's friends. The plan was that Claire would be meeting two of her friends for drinks at the winery. When Claire arrived at the winery, we had a table reservered for her in her friends name. Her friends then texted to let her know that they were running late and told her to go ahead and order a bottle. After she ordered a bottle, Zach came out with the bottle and then asked her for her hand in marriage. Claire, of course, said yes!

We were a bit worried about the winery being too busy or it being too obvious that I was there but it worked out perfectly! Peace Water Winery had a band that night, Claire Arrivo (different Claire haha), and I was able to just pretend like I was there to photograph her and some bottles of wine. It also wasn't too busy for the exact time of the proposal and the folks who were out on the back patio were all made aware of the proposal and were so excited to see the moment (if you look closely in some of the photos one of the dogs, Luna, was very excited to watch). It was the perfect proposal.

That just married feeling! All those weeks, months, and even years of planning have all been worth it and you are officially a married couple! The smiles and excitement that you see on a couples face as they walk back down the aisle is always the best!

Highlights from Elizabeth and Stevie’s engagement session just hit the blog!
These two have been together for over five years and got engaged over a year ago on Valentine’s Day. They will be tying the knot this Halloween at Bennett’s Greenhouse in Lafayette, Indiana. Their first date was at Bennetts so it’s super special that they will be getting married there as well! They will be filling their wedding with purples, green, and gold colors. Since their wedding is on Halloween, they will be including in a nod to the holiday as well. They are looking forward to celebrating their love with all of their friends and family.

We met up at Wea Creek Orchard in Lafayette, Indiana for their engagement session. They loved all the greenery and spaces that they offer and that it was a bit more private than being at a busy park. It was a lot of fun getting to know these two a bit more and document the engagement portion of their love story.

Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there. A big Happy Father's Day to my dad who has always supported me and believed in me. Today we will all be going out for lunch and to celebrate the day (and our belated birthdays).
