That feeling you feel when you see all the possibilities right at your fingertips…

I know, that if it wasn’t possible for you, you wouldn’t feel it.

That possibility-feeling’s there to guide you.

Other feelings will come up that may sway you or test you.

I heard this on a tv show,

“Feelings are like children. You wouldn’t want them driving the car but you don’t want to stuff them in the trunk either.”

Stay true to you and focus on your possibilities because THOSE feelings are what brings you gold.

Do you know that feeling when you look into a 10X magnifying mirror?

Everything is huge and all you can see are gigantic flaws

It will depress the hell out of you.

It’s just like when you see a picture of yourself and all you can see are those extra 10lbs or a double chin or all those awkward feelings you can’t disguise.

Been there, done that.

I have a cure.

Whenever I see faults in myself, I ask what’s really triggering me.

The answer isn’t the mirror or the photo.

What makes me look at my photo-faults or the magnifying mirror is something that’s triggering me in the big picture of my life.

Maybe it’s an un-met goal that I really want to obtain or maybe it’s some other part of the big picture I need to change.

The only way I can get true change is by working with what I have been blessed with—-not fighting with my faults but maximizing the blessings I’ve been given.

Suddenly my world shifts and I know exactly what to do (and photos of myself become easy) because I’m focused on what brings true power.

That’s when the energy of what I’m creating and becoming shows up and is there for all to see in photos of me.

I love you and want YOU to live your best life as you step into the BIG picture of YOU.

Oh, and please stay away from those #%!%ing magnifying mirrors.

Who remembers a show called Romper Room?

I know, crazy name right? I must have been 4 years old when I watched it.

It had kind of a Mr. Rogers vibe.

At the end of the show, the teacher pulled out a magical mirror and looked through it pretending to see the kids watching the show from home.

I fully KNEW it was real at the time. It was my favorite part of the show.

She would look through the mirror-frame-cutout and say,
”I see Johnny and Mary and Jack and Sara…”

She never called my name.

I always wondered WHY.

I mean, surely she was holding back because I was right in front of her.

I actually felt rejection. WHY didn’t she SEE EVERYONE?!!

I took that to heart and decided it’s important for everyone to be seen, heard and acknowledged .

As a personal brand photographer, I think I still channel that 4 year old girl!

I want YOU to be seen and understood.

I want you to be seen for all that you are.

The camera is an incredible tool that helps you see so much.

I recommend you turn it on yourself and see who you are-
It’s different from that point of view.

You might see things you didn’t know about yourself.

You might see that you’re showing up differently than how you feel!

My friend said,
“You are massively
powerful.”

I thought to myself of all the times I am and the times I’m not.

I think the trick is knowing how to get out of my own way and learning to SEE things from a new perspective.

I’m still working on it.

Grateful I get plenty of practice with what I do.

It’s funny how your brain works. When you see yourself showing up being spectacular, your brain believes it.

Suppressing who you are in order to please leads to DEPRESSION.

I love how photos create a self-knowledge anchor

It’s LIBERATING to SEE yourself being who you’ve secretly known you could always be-
WITHOUT LIMITATIONS.

Sharing YOUR STYLE, standing out with what makes you unique, making your inner self visible, brings SO MUCH POWER

Merry Christmas🎄
I just heard this quote:

“There is no happy ending
to an unhappy journey”

I don’t know about you but this coming year I’m being very intentional about creating my life.

I’m doing my best to focus on the results I DO want and not spend time on the worries or situations or outcomes I don’t want.

Sounds simple but it’s taken a lifetime to get to where I am now.

I really like where I am.

Here’s to walking happy pathways and hoping our paths cross at some point in 2022.
