One of the best gifts about this career is being able to meet so many amazing humans doing great work. The team Virta Health was so kind and open-hearted. Their collective warmth really speaks to a business organism that is actually embodying their name.

This was a pop up studio in Palm Springs at their company retreat where I shot the event for a few days and these are some of the team portraits.

Every person I’ve photographed for the past 20 years has been a gift to connect with & a joy to create something where they literally are seen in the world.

Sometimes souls come into your life that literally change your perception of the breaths we get here.

Embodiment ➕ nervous system • Preston Smiles is that guy.

We met in 2015 at an entrepreneurial conference that he and Alexi Panos ♾ Master Coach + Author were speaking at and I said “I’m gonna be friends with them.”

We became friends and we’ve spent the past 6 years connecting almost everyday in a mens group we call MCE.

Brother, you have held me when I was crushed, lifted me up when I’ve been low. You have taught me wisdom and we’ve danced our asses off on the playa. Thank you, I honor the man, the husband, the father and the light you are to so many in this world.

Thank you for your presence in my life. I love you!

20 years ago today I transitioned from being a singer of a band to a dad with a camera and I am blown away that I’ve been able to meet and work with so many amazing souls along the way. I’ve had the privilege to travel the world with my camera. Such a gift!

Thank you all who have given your kindness and your trust to photograph and film you, your projects, businesses, families, celebrations, retreats, product, architecture, interior design and more.

Cheers to 20 more when I’m all grey hair and Ai has completely made it irrelevant to hire a photographer…yet I’ll still keep looking through the viewfinder and pressing the shutter button in the moments.

Why? For me, it makes sense to use my camera to share people’s work who run great companies, who make the world more beautiful with their passion, joy, kindness and creative inspiration.

make spaces feel good.

Environment dictates everything.

If your space feels good, you’re likely to feel good.

Also is mostly a women run business and they crush it! Yes to more women owned/ operated businesses in our world.
