You are safe here. 🏳️‍🌈 Taylor was born and raised on the island of Maui. She is a true Lahaina girl! She has always had a special eye for photography. Her talent for photography started when her parents first placed a camera in her hands at a very young age. Her very first DSLR camera was a Fuji Film Fine Pix. It was a good starter camera that she eventually out grew. In April of 2014 she finally

upgraded to a Canon Rebel T3i and really loves the amazing quality photos that it takes and of course all the different types of lenses! She has had multiple photographs in the Maui County Fair and she has won Honorable Mention awards for her photographs! Her love for photography grows each and everyday she finds something new to capture!

Hurricane Lala had other plans for this session.

The stormy weather pushed us to reschedule for later in the week, and honestly, I’m glad we did. The rain, wind, and gloomy skies finally cleared up just in time, and we were able to make this session happen.

Sometimes you just have to let the weather do its thing and trust that there’s another day waiting for you.

And this one was definitely worth the wait.

Every May Day, we celebrate the all-embracing symbol of aloha - our beloved lei.

Celebrated every May 1st, Lei Day began in 1928 as a way to honor the art, history, and cultural significance of lei making here in Hawaiʻi. What started as a small celebration has grown into a statewide tradition filled with music, hula, and the sharing of aloha.

A lei is never just something you wear. Each flower, each leaf, each strand tells a story of love, connection, and intention. Growing up here, it’s something you feel deeply… in the moments they’re given, the hands that make them, and the memories they carry long after the flowers fade.

Grateful to call this place home and to be surrounded by traditions that hold so much meaning. 🌿✨

When I decided to start doing family photos, I made a choice in my business to create a more comfortable and intimate experience by booking smaller families of 6.

I only book family sessions with up to 6 people.

Not because I don’t love big families… but because I’ve learned where my work feels the most meaningful.

When sessions are smaller, everything slows down. I can notice the little things, the way your toddler reaches for you, the in-between laughs, the quiet moments that usually get lost in the chaos. I’m not rushing to line everyone up or make sure everyone is looking at me at once. I’m present with you.

And that changes everything.

Your photos stop feeling posed and start feeling like you. Intimate. Honest. Connected.

I want your gallery to feel like memories, not just a checklist of poses you have in mind and saved for years.

This was a boundary I set to protect the experience I give and the kind of work I’m proud to deliver.

If you’ve been in front of my camera, you know how much I value those real, unscripted moments. That’s what I’m choosing more of.

From photographing the beauty of my beloved hometown of Lāhainā, to creating memories for local families, visitors, and small businesses, this journey has meant everything to me.

I don’t have the words to fully express the love I have for each and every one of you who has supported, booked, liked, commented, and shared over the last 12 years.

Mahalo will never feel like enough. Thank you for everything. I truly love you all from the bottom of my heart.
