It only took three humpback whales to give us all an unforgettable experience! Thanks to all of our guests and one dad from Germany we had the best close encounter with spy hops. Absolutely breathtaking! (The double peduncles and tails slaps were brilliant, as well!)
Thanks Captain Tinker and First Mate Chris!

A beautiful day on Monterey Bay with lots of curious humpback whales! Keep in mind we sit still, watch and let the whales do as they wish. It is quite a thrill and shock when they come in for a closer look!

Long-beaked common dolphins aren't "common" in Monterey Bay but they have been delighting us for several months! They love to get an extra boost while bow riding, too! Lots of nice flukes both in and out while the humpback whales feed on bait a little farther below the surface.

Monday morning with Captain Kevin and Chris! We had a very friendly encounter with two humpback whales and one even spy hopped right next to us! Then we found a pod of short-beaked common dolphins! A great way to start the day!

On our way out we watched a snowy egret land and take off. So pretty! Check out the sea lion’s latest resting grounds! Another fence was installed after one creature found his way onto the road! Our trip was filled with humpback whales feeding near Moss Landing. The birds and sea lions were also around to take advantage of the abundant bait!
