After a couple of conversations with my midwife, long talks with my husband, and a whole lot of reflection, I’ve made a decision that feels deeply rooted in my heart.

I am honored to share that I am now an affiliated photographer with Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep.

As a mother, I know how precious every moment with our children is. We spend so much time documenting first smiles, tiny fingers, birthday candles, and all the beautiful milestones in between. But for some families, the moments they have are far too few.

No parent should have to face the unimaginable heartbreak of saying goodbye to their baby. Yet when that reality becomes their story, photographs become more than images. They become proof that their baby existed, was loved beyond measure, and will never be forgotten.

Through this affiliation, I will be providing remembrance photography for families experiencing infant loss in our area, creating tangible memories during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

This isn’t work I take lightly. It’s a calling I feel led toward. A way to serve families when words fall short and grief feels unbearable.

Thank you to my husband for supporting this decision and to my midwife for helping me see where my heart was being pulled. I pray that no family ever needs these services, but if they do, I want them to know they won’t have to walk through that moment alone.

One of the questions I get asked the most is:

“How many photos will I receive?”

Truthfully? I couldn’t tell you. 😂

I don’t sit there counting images or stop editing once I hit a certain number. If the photo tells part of your story and I love it, it’s going in your gallery.

When you book with me, you’re not paying for a set number of photos. You’re investing in memories, moments, and the experience of having them documented in a way that feels authentic to you.

Could I charge for every extra image? Sure.

But I’d rather deliver the fullest gallery possible and make sure you have every beautiful moment worth keeping.

Those extra photos are simply my little way of saying thank you for trusting me with your memories. 🤍

A personal and business update 🤍

At this time, I will be pausing all new session bookings until the end of August.

If you’re patiently waiting to be added to my calendar, I ask for a little grace and understanding. For the first time after having children, I am navigating postpartum depression. It’s not something I ever expected to experience, and it’s taken more of me than I can put into words.

Right now, I simply do not have enough space on my plate to take on new bookings. My focus needs to be on my current June and July clients, my contracted weddings, and most importantly, my health and my family.

I am actively getting help, beginning medication, and working with a therapist so I can heal and become the best version of myself for my children, my husband, my clients, and myself.

I plan to return at the end of August and will begin scheduling the flash sale sessions that have already been purchased. The only new paid bookings I will be accepting during this time are 2027 weddings.

As someone who pours so much of herself into every gallery, every client experience, and every moment behind the camera, this decision was not easy. But I’ve learned that you cannot pour from an empty cup, and right now, I need to give myself the same grace I so freely give others.

Thank you for your patience, your kindness, and for allowing me the space, time, and room to heal. Your support means more than you know.
