I’d love you to see this photo of me and see a woman who has her life all put together, but I’ll let you in on a secret. Five minutes before this photo was taken, I was running around in a wrinkled robe trying to get my lights set up, the necklace that was still in my hand got caught on a doorknob and broke, my feral children were running amok, and my husband informed me that I gave him the wrong measurements for this setup (oops), so he had to make some weird last-minute adjustments using clothespins. I was constantly stepping out of frame between shots to fix my hair (it looks dang good though 😬), my stilettos were gorgeous but were killing my feet, and I’d barely eaten all day and was mildly hangry.
All this to say, I GET IT when you arrive to your session frazzled and stressed. It’s a whole circus to get everyone to the location color-coordinated, happy(ish), and on time. I get you. I AM you.
But the best part of my job is proving how much the hassle is worth it. Ask me how many of clients (especially seniors) leave their sessions feeling like a cover model. Seeing people’s confidence come to life in front of my camera is my joy and part of my purpose.
Book the session. Text me if you need help coordinating outfits. Bring bribes for the kids. Whatever you need. But get the photos taken.
