Out of the Wild by Justine Looking through my lens Out of the Wild by Justine is where Photography + Wildlife meet ! As they say when you lose something you gain something !

Many paths have complicated my life and kept me from this part of me for a very long time but some recent changes have restored this part of me . I've been blessed to get back to a yearning that is deep within ...and a love for all wildness...from a beautiful sunset to birds to mountains ..and what better way to share it than in my love of photography !! As we wind down Butterfly season here (which is always a bit bittersweet,right?) I think back on this special day in Wisconsin that I got to see the darling Juniper Hairstreak Butterfly! Several of them !!

Probably one of my favorite species I have ever seen and photographed !

They are super tiny ... the second image shows one on the milkweed flower and those flowers are so small !

Such a delightful species and such a wonderful day with them !! ✨🍃🌸

I have 4 of these cuties in my yard chasing each other ... One juvie male and 3 females . I'm loving every moment i can sneak outside to see them knowing the day will come very soon and they will be gone ....

Sigh ... another year ... another goodbye 🥺🤍🍃🧚🏼‍♂️
